Natter at the Horse and Jockey, Hipley

10may19:3022:00Natter at the Horse and Jockey, HipleyOur first outdoor evening meet of the year kicks off with a visit to the Horse & Jockey at Hipley nr Denmead from 7.30pm. There is a large grassed parking area to the right of the pub with plenty of space to show your vehicles and have a natter. The Historic country pub offers great options with several areas to sit inside or out as well as a covered outdoor seating area to sit & relax no matter the weather. The restaurant will be closed, but the normal selection of hot and cold drinks is available, they have offered to cook us some portions of chips if there is sufficient demand. For a bit of fun, we are planning a game of Top Trumps to quiz your motoring minds. Each member is asked to list a classic vehicle in the car park against each of the following: fastest, slowest, most economical, least economical, largest engine, smallest engine, highest mileage, oldest and longest ownership. Forms will be handed out to each on arrival. One for the 6 facts for the owner to complete and then one each for the driver and passenger to answer. We will mark these later and publish the results in the next magazine. Organised by David Woolley.19:30 - 22:00(GMT-11:00)
